Iphoto Mac Os X 10.6 8 Download

I recently caused a macbookpro OS X 10.6.8 second-hand. It did not come with iphoto and I am trying to download information technology unsuccessfully.
Please will someone help me in finding software that is compatible. At the app store iphoto 11 won't download because it will merely run on ten.7.five software which I practice not have.
Please advise.
Options:
Picasa - free
Become the original discs from whomever you purchased the MBP from so that y'all can install it.
Buy an older version of iLife 09 or xi that nevertheless works with ten.6.8.
Ex. Amazon
Upgrade the MBP to 10.8 if it is capable and and so you lot tin get the current version of iPhoto.

The macbook pro (mid 2010) is actually i I bought on ebay for my married woman. We don't particularly want to leap through the hoops of upgrading to Mavericks, simply I did upgrade to 10.6.8 and that's when my iPhoto outcome began (or at least, that'due south when I first noticed it). I thought it had something to practice with the OS upgrade, so I re-installed the original ten.half dozen.four from the original disks. The error message I get says "iPhoto cannot be opened because of a problem." continues... "Bank check with the developer to brand certain iPhoto works with this version of Mac OS. You may need to reinstall the application. Be certain to install whatever available updates for the application and Mac OS." Cease fault bulletin.
